I'm Jaclyn, a Vancouver resident living on the beautiful North Shore. I run a busy lifestyle teaching spin 6 days a week and running my makeup and hair company Artistry by Jax. I find that my two jobs compliment one another quite well as I am constantly aspiring to motivate and inspire people to feel best from the inside out. My intention with spin is to help people push themselves to achieve their own personal goals. I believe makeup is for enhancing ones natural beauty and take pride in making sure my clients leave confident and still feeling like themselves! I feel fortunate to be able to say that every day when I go to work I get to do what I love and am always meeting new and inspiring people. I find when I am not on location in the city working I like to find downtime by going to a good film, taking our pup on a hike, baking, painting or getting into a good book!
Say yes and figure it out afterwards. I think it's crucial for people to seize opportunities as they come to them, even if you feel it might not be suited to you. Experiences are what help us grow as individuals and learn more about ourselves.
I try to empower people to care for themselves and make time for the things that are important to them. Self love is so imperative to your wellbeing and with many negative things going on in the world it is crucial to take a step back, disconnect and reflect on your accomplishments. Take the time to do something once a day where you are prioritizing yourself.
